Communication Technology
and Production Focus Class: The students have
worked extremely hard! Over the next month, students will be conducting
student interviews, reporting on fine art classes, filming, and taking
photographs. This will be combined and edited to create and an advertisement
for the ACTS magnet program. Teacher: Don Goforth Rotation Class: The first group of
students just completed their nine week class. The focus of this class was to
expose the students to communication and technology. We studied Propaganda Techniques
in advertising and created our own billboard and magazine ads on the mobile laptop
lab. The students them filmed original commercials about their products. We
moved on to “Live-on-the-Scene” filmed interviews and finished up with small
group TV News Broadcasts.
